Grievance Procedures

  1. Individuals who participate in a CMTE course provided by EnlightenCE have the right to file a grievance.
  2. Participants must provide written documentation of the complaint, outline the problem as perceived, and state the preferred solution within 30 days of the completion of the course.
  3. E-Mail the grievance letter to: EnlightenCE, jen (a) enlighten-ce.org with “grievance” in the subject line.
  4. Once the grievance letter is received, Jennifer Sokira will review the information and then respond in writing within 14 days of receipt of the grievance.

Appeal Procedures

  1. If you disagree with the resolution of the grievance, you have the right to appeal the decision.
  2. State the reasons for your appeal in a letter and email it to EnlightenCE within 14 days of the receipt of our response.
  3. The appeal will be reviewed and responded to in writing within 14 days of receipt.
  4. If the grievance still is not resolved satisfactorily, you have the right to ask the CBMT Continuing Education Committee to address the unresolved grievance.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policies

Refund Policy for Online Continuing Education Courses

We are committed to providing high-quality, meaningful continuing education experiences. If you are dissatisfied with a course for any reason, you may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase, provided you have completed at least 50% of the course content (including videos, assignments, and required readings).

To initiate a refund request, please email us at jen [at] enlighten-ce.org with a brief explanation of your concerns and documentation of your course progress. Refunds will be issued at our discretion based on review of the completed materials and feedback provided. 

Please note: Refunds are not available for completed courses or for certificate programs where the full series has already been accessed in its entirety.  Refunds are also not issued for courses that have been forgotten or abandoned and have gone beyond their two year window.  

If you have extenuating circumstances impacting your ability to participate or require accommodations, don't hesitate to reach out at the earliest possible time so we can ensure you have the best possible experience.

60 days prior to the opportunity, registrants will receive a FULL refund of their registration fee.

30 days prior to the opportunity, registrants will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee.

2 weeks prior to the opportunity, registrants will receive 25% refund of their registration fee.

*Participants that are forced to withdraw for medical/emergency reasons may be eligible to receive a prorated refund.

*These policies do not apply to onsite retreats or international travel learning opportunities.
